What is one piece of advice you have for students who are choosing a college?
Find a place where you feel you belong! Choosing the right academic fit is certainly important, but so is—perhaps most importantly—picking a college where you will succeed outside the classroom too! At IU, we are dedicated to creating and supporting a culture and community where all students can thrive.

What is your favorite place on campus and why?
On a winter night, it’s Assembly Hall cheering on the Hoosiers. In the mornings, it’s walking to my office and watching the sunrise over the Arboretum and Wells Library. At noon, when the Carillion bell tower is ringing out, it’s near Ballentine and the Beck Chapel watching the hustle and bustle of students and faculty on their way to class. On a gorgeous spring day, is meandering along bumbling creek and woods in the heart of campus near the Bryan House. If you’ve been here, you know the beauty of the campus, and how difficult it is to pick only one place!
