Jason Edwards

With a background in both teaching and advising, Jason Edwards has a focus on empowering students to learn how to navigate IU with confidence and independence. After starting his career as an English teacher, he later realized that he had a passion for working individually with students, guiding them to take charge of their education. He holds an undergraduate degree in English and Psychology Education from Auburn University and an MBA from Anderson University, giving him a balanced perspective that connects liberal arts thinking with practical pathways. He finds the most rewarding moments in advising when students push past self-doubt and exceed their own expectations, and encourages them to come prepared, ask questions, and take an active role in shaping their academic journey.
